Civano Neighbors meetings include both general membership meetings and meetings held by Working Groups affiliated with Civano Neighbors.
General and Annual Membership Meetings
Civano Neighbors general membership meetings are held every other month on the third Tuesday of the month, at 7 p.m. at the Civano Neighborhood Center. All general meetings are governed by a consensus-based process, and are open to the public. See the Bylaws for more information about our consensus approach.
The Civano Neighbors Annual Meeting is held each October. The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to review events and progress from the previous year (presented in a report by the Leadership Team), establish goals and objectives for the forthcoming year, hold elections, and review/revise Bylaws as appropriate.
A quorum for any general membership meeting, for consensus and voting purposes, is defined as the attendance of 20 members at the meeting.
General Membership Meeting Announcements and Minutes
General meetings are announced at least seven days in advance of the meeting online (Civano Neighbors Discussion Forum) and via email. Additionally, annual meetings are announced in print via a postcard sent by the city.
All general meeting minutes are also posted on the Discussion Forum within ten working days after the meeting. They are also available in hard copy upon request through web1@civanoneighbors.com, or any member of the Leadership Team.
